The recipe for honey grapefruit tea
- Apply a layer of salt to the grapefruit and brush it clean; Peel off the pomelo peel, this is the essence of pomelo’s phlegm dispelling and cough relieving properties

- Peel off the grapefruit flesh and tear it into small pieces; Cut the peeled yellow skin into thin threads about 3 centimeters long and 1 millimeter thick, the finer the better; Marinate the sliced grapefruit peel in salt water for 1 hour

- Put the marinated grapefruit peel into clean water and boil over medium heat for 10 minutes to soften and remove bitterness

- Put the processed pomelo peel and flesh into a clean, oil-free pot, add a small bowl of water and rock sugar, and simmer on low to medium heat for 1 hour until it becomes sticky and the pomelo peel is golden and translucent. Be sure to stir frequently during boiling to avoid sticking to the pot

- After cooling, add honey and stir well to make honey grapefruit tea. Put it in a sealed jar and store it in the refrigerator. When drinking, rinse it with warm water
