How to make coconut steamed buns
- Put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix well. Knead the dough for 2 minutes at level 2, let it rest for 5 minutes, knead the dough for 12 minutes at level 4, and let the dough rise for 20 minutes. Melt 50g butter in hot water, add 80g fine sugar, 6 egg yolks, and 140g coconut flakes, mix well and set aside. Divide the large dough into three equal parts and make three different shapes… 40g dough skin, 16g coconut flakes filling, knead into a round shape and cut into crosses with a knife.
