How to make bean cake
- Mix the dough with warm water and knead it into a soft and smooth dough. Divide it into three equal portions and roll each portion into a round piece as big as a bowl, as shown in the picture.
- Brush two of the dough sheets with a thick layer of vegetable oil and stack the three sheets together with the oil layer in the middle.
- Then roll out the stacked dough sheets until they are big enough to cover the vegetables in the pot below.
- Put oil in the pot, stir-fry the scallion, ginger and garlic, put the ribs in and stir-fry for a while, add potatoes, beans and soybean paste in turn, stir-fry for a few times, add water, the water level is just level with the vegetables, add light soy sauce and salt to taste, and mix well.
- Place the dough you just rolled out on top of the dish, cover the pot, and simmer over high heat.
- Open the lid halfway through the cooking process and turn the pancake over so that the side facing up is also coated with the vegetable soup. Continue simmering until the vegetable soup evaporates and only a little is left, almost dry. At this point, the vegetables are tender and the pancake is cooked. Remove from heat.
- Cut the pancake into several pieces, unwrap it layer by layer with chopsticks, and place it on a plate. Serve the dish, pour the excess soup on the pancake, mix it well, and the pancake will be full of oil and smell fragrant.
- The pork ribs stewed with beans and pancakes are super delicious.
