How to make braised chicken with bamboo shoots
- Cut the bamboo shoots into hob pieces and wash them. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot. Pour in the bamboo shoots. Cover the pot and blanch over medium heat for ten minutes. Turn off the heat and drain the water.
- Soak the mushrooms until soft and cut into strips. Add appropriate amount of oil to the pot, add the mushrooms and stir-fry until fragrant. Dish out.
- Leave some oil in the pot, add shredded ginger, garlic, and rock sugar and stir-fry until the color turns brown
- Add the chicken and stir-fry for a while
- Add appropriate amount of water, soy sauce, green onions, cover the pot and simmer over medium heat for ten minutes.
- Then pour in the blanched bamboo shoots, cover the pot and continue to simmer over medium heat for ten minutes.
- Finally, add the mushrooms and simmer for another ten minutes until the soup thickens.
- Sprinkle some chopped green onion and garnish, done~
