How to make foam coffee
- The ingredients are very simple, just instant black coffee, milk, sugar and a little water. Many kitchen friends asked if instant coffee is necessary, so I’d better remind you in advance, because freshly ground coffee and drip coffee can’t be completely dissolved, so you can’t get this texture. Nestle’s two-in-one coffee with non-dairy creamer can’t be whipped either. I have tried it at the end, you can take a look 👇🏻
- Two spoons of coffee powder
- 2 tablespoons of fine sugar (the amount of sugar can be reduced or replaced with sugar substitute, but it is best not to omit it. The effect of beating without sugar will be updated at the end)
- Two tablespoons of hot water. The amount depends on how much you want to make. The ratio of coffee powder, sugar and water should be 1:1:1. The amount I give here is just enough for one cup.
- Stir with an egg beater until dissolved evenly.
- Most bloggers beat it by hand, which conservatively takes 7 to 10 minutes. I don’t have strong arms, so I decided to use an electric whisk (or a milk frother will also work), which doubles the efficiency👌🏻
- After beating at low speed for a while, the coffee starts to change color and become thicker.
- Beat it for a while until it becomes a cream-like texture.
- It’s amazing that coffee can be whipped to such a level that the bowl won’t fall out!
- Pour the milk into the cup, don’t fill it too full, either hot or cold milk is fine
- Pour the whipped coffee on top of the milk and get the foamy coffee👌🏻
