How to cook Chinese cabbage with oyster sauce
- Remove old leaves from the choy sum and wash. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add 1 spoon of salt and a few drops of cooking oil, add the choy sum and cook for 1 minute, remove and drain, and place on a plate.
- Heat a wok over medium heat, add oil, and when the oil is hot, add half of the minced garlic and fry until fragrant. Then add oyster sauce and light soy sauce and stir well.
- Add half a bowl of water, bring to a boil, then add starch, simmer until the soup is thick and shiny. Finally, add the other half of the minced garlic and chili rings, and pour over the choy sum while it’s still hot.
