How to make homemade dried shrimp (air fryer version)
- I used one pound of live large shrimps, rinsed them clean, added cold water, ginger, salt and cooking wine to boil, and soaked them in salt water for more than 15 minutes. The salt for roasting dried shrimps should be doubled, otherwise they will be too bland after roasting.
- After cooking, drain and put into the preheated air fryer. In summer, I usually preheat it at 180 degrees for three minutes.
- First bake the prawns at a medium-low temperature of 120 degrees for about 50 minutes to absorb a lot of water, and then bake at 150 degrees for about 35 minutes. When it is about 90% dry, you can get the same taste as the prawns bought on TB. If you want to eat it a little drier, you can add a little more time. It is recommended not to add more than 5 minutes each time. The drier the drying, the longer it can be stored and it will not mold or grow insects.
