How to make oyster vermicelli casserole
- Peel the oysters and place them in a bowl for later use. Soak the vermicelli in water until slightly softened. Chop the garlic. Dice the chili and green pepper. If you can’t eat spicy food, reduce the amount!
- Heat oil in a pan, add minced garlic, chili and green pepper, stir fry for a few times, add a spoonful of oyster sauce, 2-3 spoonfuls of steamed fish soy sauce, a spoonful of sugar, and a little salt. After frying, turn off the heat and set aside.
- Stir the fried garlic into the oysters (you can leave a little and add it last, or you can put it all in).
- Place the softened vermicelli on the bottom of the casserole, add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and then place the oysters on top. Cook over low heat until the water starts to boil, then turn off the heat after two and a half minutes.
- Sprinkle some chopped green onions when it’s ready to eat! (You can add the minced garlic you left over to make the color look better)
