Recipe for Stewed Beef brisket with Potatoes and Carrots (Pressure Cooker Version)
- 1. Soak the beef brisket in blood water first, try to soak it for as long as possible, and change the water tank multiple times. 2. Cut the beef brisket soaked in blood water to the size you like, put it in cold water, add ginger slices, scallions, cooking wine, and blanch it in water

- 3. Prepare the spices (garlic is not, it’s prepared for other dishes)

- 4. Directly add oil and rock sugar over low heat in a pressure cooker, stir fry the sugar color, and be careful not to stir fry the sugar color until it is burnt, as it will be bitter

- 5. The sugar color has come out, add beef brisket and stir fry until it is colored

- 6. Add the ingredients shown in the picture, as well as an appropriate amount of cooking wine, two tablespoons of light soy sauce, one tablespoon of dark soy sauce, a little sugar here. I added a little salt, a little MSG, and three dried chili peppers. If you don’t like spicy food, you can skip it. Then add boiling water or broth, cover the high pressure pot lid, and start stewing on high heat. After 12-15 minutes of steaming, release the air

- 7. After opening, the beef brisket can already be inserted into chopsticks, and then scoop out the large ingredients, which will become bitter even if cooked for a long time

- 8. Put in your favorite side dishes. Here, I have carrots and potatoes, but you can also add onions and the like. I have fewer potatoes here because the potatoes at home are broken and only one small one is left, so I added more carrots. Here, you can adjust it according to your preference, including adding water if you don’t have enough, sugar and salt if you don’t have enough. Then cover the pressure cooker and continue to heat it up. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to see how soft and rotten you like it
